Twitter Use on the Job Destroying Customer Service

Well it finally happened to me, you see, I've heard about this little problem from friends when discussing the problems of customer service in the present period. Now, it has finally happened to me. I was ordering my Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger and Onion Rings, yes, I got the Value Meal Deal thing, but while she was taking my order, I got bumped!

No, I didn't get bumped by their famous spokesperson Paris Hilton, this time the Carl's Jr. employee was the one who bumped me. Yep, she said; "oh, wait one minute." And I thought, she was going to go check with the cook or the manager to see if they had enough BBQ sauce or patties for my meal, no, that wasn't it. You see, the gal picked up her little phone device and had to read a Tweet, yah, a friggin Tweet from Twitter; go figure!

Well, of all the nerve in the middle of my order and all, and rather than getting upset or telling her what I really thought, I merely said; "Well, why don't you tweet, my order back to the cook, because I am hungry!" Next time, you get bumped during a customer service moment, please stand up for your rights as a consumer, and after you get whatever it was you ordered, tell the manager that you are upset with all this nonsense.

But, don't make a scene before you get your food, I've heard horror stories of what can happen if you do, and although they are most likely Urban Legend, I assure you this tweeting event actually happened; To Me!
